Episode #2 in my Where the Rubber Meets the Road podcast series is now available.
Coming this summer! These are the covers of the girls’ narration journals in the Journal Your Thoughts Written Narration Course. (I am still choosing the literature selections for the boys’ journals.) There will be four journals specifically for girls, ages 9-13, as well as four journals for boys in that age rage. As you can see, I am going to create one journal that is for either boy or girl and is for those students, who are not quite ready for the high school level literature.
I just submitted my first podcast to the iTunes store! (I’ll keep everyone updated when it’s available.) I have to admit, I’m kind of nervous about this, but I also know that it’s something God has been asking me to step out and do.
My first episode is an introduction to who I am, what I do, and the methods I use in my parenting, teaching, and writing. This first podcast is the beginning of a series, titled “Where the Rubber Meets the Road,” which I will be releasing over the next few weeks.
Here are some of the other topics I will be talking about in this series:
Being my child’s ally
Don’t wander in the desert called burn-out!
Living and loving through having a prodigal
Take your children on an interesting and informative ride through American history!
There is no time like the present to learn about how our country came to be. Meet some of the amazing men and women who gave everything they had to insure freedom and liberty. Is America still truly the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave?
A Living History of Our World, America’s Story, available HERE!
After a long, busy, and somewhat stressful week, I am looking forward to a couple of old movies on Netflix and my coloring books! Add my fleecy blanket, a hot cup of Irish Breakfast tea… I’m so thankful for relaxing and uplifting weekends.
