Over the last few weeks I’ve been asked many times about my current projects and important updates. I thought I’d write a blog post and update everyone at once.
This coming week, I will be finishing the rough draft for The World’s Story 3. I am so excited for this project!
I will be finishing up work on the Teacher Guide/Student Journal right after Christmas break.
I have also been working on (with the help of my pilot program) an all-new Bible study project called The Young Warrior in the Mirror. The pilot program and the completion of the rough draft is scheduled to be completed May 2019, so we are closing in on the half-way mark. I am LOVING working with these girls. [I have decided one thing in this process…I will be adapting my final draft to be aimed for both boys and girls in this age range.] This cover image is my current “Pilot Program Edition” of the cover, which will be updated at the time of release.
Starting in January 2019, I am going to be reviving my newsletter. I will be sharing more about this in a couple of weeks, but I can tell you now that I am going in an all-new direction with it. I am extremely excited about this and would love to encourage you to sign up to receive my newsletter if you haven’t yet! You can sign up HERE.
Other coming projects
This coming spring, Master Books will be releasing Math K the last volume in the Math Lessons for a Living Education series. I am so excited to provide a well-rounded, early learning math program that will prepare young children, ages 3 to 5 years old, for their elementary math experience. Math K will focus on positional words, following directions, pattern recognition, shapes, colors, one to one correspondence, and many other topics. The story element will be a “prequel” to the storyline used in Math books 1-6.
In April, I will be adding two new volumes to my Journal Your Thoughts Written Narration Course. The American Literature volume and the Cultural Literature volume will be available through Rainbow Resource by the end of May or early June. [Covers are subject to change.]
Other important happenings…
On a more personal level, my daughter and son-in-law gave my husband and me this precious gift… [Baby Barclay coming next July!]
I’m still working on a good “grandma” name for myself… 😉
Over the last few months, I have been working hard towards the completion my Master Certification in Child Development and Parenting Coaching with the American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Board of Christian Care. Last month (November) I completed the hardest and longest course required for this certification – a course focused on the effects of trauma and abuse on children’s brains and how to help them through it. I am passionate about my life coaching ministry, and helping children and their parents is what truly lights my fire. I will be sharing updates as I move through the completion of this certification.
